MicroStation 2D & 3D and AutoCad Systems and field verification, inspection and as-built documentation preparation. Experience includes work at municipal wastewater treatment plants, refineries, power plants and major oil development projects involving flow diagrams, 2D & 3D piping drawings, piping isometrics, civil and architectural construction drawings. PDS P&ID Software experience.

Principal Designer/Drafter Parsons (1988 – August/2010)

2005-2010: IPMC Project at Orange County Sanitation Districts Jobsite.

Created and revised P&IDs, loop diagrams, PLC block diagrams, panel layout and faceplate drawings, control schematics, and others drawing for the Instrumentation and Controls Dept. and the Facilities Records Group. Field investigation and verification when needed. Using AutoCad & Microstation

2004-2005: J-35-2 Project at Orange County Sanitation Districts Jobsite. Maintained CAD Drawings for all disciples using AutoCad. Prepared drawings needed for FCO’s, RFI’s, RFP’s etc. Resolved design problems in the field as needed to answer contractors questions.

2003: Developed P&IDs for the Pueblo Project using Intergraph PDS P&ID. Prepared new P&IDs from Engineers sketches, incorporated client comments. Revised P&IDs per Engineers changes. Replicated sets of drawings for different trains. Ensured P&ID database information was intact. Propagated all drawings and corrected inconsistencies.

1999-2003: Duties included walking down mechanical equipment, piping and instrumentation at the Orange County Sanitation District’s two wastewater plants in southern California. Responsible for obtaining field information and developing “as-built” P&IDs using Intergraph PDS P&ID. Duties also included development of Instrument loop diagrams, field verification of documentation and installation of physical tags on instrumentation, mechanical equipment and piping.

Duties include the layout and production drafting, revisions, and checking of process flow and piping diagrams for four Shell Major Refinery and oil field development projects and the ARAMCO Shaybah project (500,000 barrel per day oil field, gas separation, gas reinjection, crude oil pump station, 400 mile pipeline, water and wastewater treatment facilities, airfield, and living facilities for 800 workers). Experience also included input of pipelines into a 3D model for the FPR Project, and drafting for the Architectural Discipline on the ARCO North Slope Project.

CAD Project Coordinator, Professional Design Resources (1985 – 1986). Directly responsible for complete CAD drafting projects, including in-house management, manpower projections, budgets and deadlines. Types of projects included complete architectural construction sets, floor plans telephone and electrical plans, finish plans, for high-rise office buildings.

Construction Field Inspector, Bechtel Power Corporation (1982). Performed inspection of mechanical installations and welding quality at the San Onofre Nuclear Power Plant. Duties included maintenance of inspection logs and inspection for conformance with design drawings and specifications.

CAD Designer/Drafter, Bechtel Power Corporation (1980 – 1984). Prepared piping isometric drawings with a database from existing construction drawings, oversaw the performance of up to 4 computer graphic operators. Resonsibilities included training and orienting computer graphics operators on computer systems and software updates; providing technical support to operators; reading blue prints and interpreting engineering specifications; interfacing with all engineering disciplines; performing special assignments to resolve design problems.
