Build an rpg that mid-evil, 16-bit fans would enjoy. I bought the Microsoft Compiler Suite for that year and started programming this game. I had to implement MD2 models, buy a book on OpenGL("The Open GL Bible") and master C++. This practice gives your company a competitive edge on introducing efficient data.

A master of game building utilizes the Internet 'junk yard' of open source code. The main tutorial on Octrees was given away from .com before it became sold for profit. I tore through a ninja and this octree to flag geometry upon collision, moving platforms, normals, collisions and more. This experience gives the hiring co. complex trees of data to sort through with your artists.

Mix three D with two D to give a normal platform game a realistic floor. Direct X had many tutorials on 2D blitter operations that draws a square, sprite, particle, billboard, etc. I used my own calculations on the floor so it looked 3d as it passes by. This knowledge eases your company’s need for menus and other items that stay put during game-play.

Extrude .AI files in three D, in a three D modeler to draw all the walls for an outer space fighter rpg. Another long programming tasks that included collision, system partitioning, extra school and three d models with animation. I tend to like Sci-Fi fighting games; there are a number of zombie games on the Internet. This type of design practice gives your company easily made three D models and animation.

Build a fun to play fighting game with more than 8 levels. Design 13 three D characters with animation for passing into paintbrush, adobe, the gimp or one of the other fine paintbrush programs. I would transfer frame-by-frame animation both into both png format(With an alpha color; usually green or pink) and into Direct X, Ogre 3D engine, or some other 3D engines including Irrlict's releases and builds. This experience gives your company large sheets of animations; large sheets of original animations are valuable.

Build infinitely tiled situations with bright colors and A.I. Use the A* algorithm with an octrees, or yes, even a BSP tree. I took Gile's.com classes on BSP trees, and could implement my own geometry. I can import Quake bsp trees, wad files of textures, build extra tools and run through my own quake levels. This practice encourages competitive open source use. Any library built for physics or stand as three D engines are now for your company to digest.

Create a realistic arm or leg piece and extort it to a usual file -MD2, MD3, MD5, whatever MD- version. Utilize MFC to transfer data through its view and document layers. Apply a bitmap shape to a perfect blank cylinder. It transforms the drawn shape perfectly. It would take some additional time to apply texture UVs and textures. This tool building performance gives your company an extra level of interaction with the artist.

I programmed an endless array of lines that were plotted to the layer with hovering mouse clicks. I programmed bone structure. I still have this programmed material around. this expertise gives your company the ability to sell two D and three D animator / editor / timeline tools(All similar to adobe, milkshape and discreet products)

Use, again, Direct X to load images to the background. Collapse a cylinders points o.c.("On Center" -a construction term -means exactly that to the shape of a picture. This type of tool gives your company easy of character creation.

HTML is out there for a reason, implements adobe, VRML and Javascript. Javascript is a good way to stay up to date with the Java core language. Use this set of tools to break boundaries in HTML. I like to import large ascii maps guiding how geometry is drawn. This practice and know how gives your company a fine tango dance with the artist.
Put Original Geometry from Milkshape into Giles BSP trees

Create original geometry in Milkshape, Discreet, Anim8tor or even Blender(A little bit). Take the classes offered at Giles.com and be able to use the two together. After implementing Quake BSP trees, I conquered the task of programming original imported geometry. I side programmed other schemes into the BSP tree like object identification and terrain behavior. This power gives your company efficient visibility slices of the entire map.
