Accomplishments

To prove That Lean Transformation has applicable variation that can be used anywhere, the same fundamentals were applied to a local golf course. We have taken a business that was losing 250,000 dollars a year to swing to a 250,000 gross profit.

From 10/10/2013 to 10/10/2014, a small number of inexpensive projects eliminated over 1 million dollars in waste from processes using the DMAIC of Six Sigma and the PDCA’s.

Created a solid working base for our company to apply Continuous Improvement ideals as they apply to Lean Manufacturing. As a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, I created an effective inter-company philosophy that gave the employees the right motivation and ability to think about more efficient means and mannerisms to complete their tasks/duties more efficiently.

Strong, well developed work ethic allows me to learn quickly and have a highly positive impact on the task at hand.

Increased the productivity and quality through changing of inefficient shop floor philosophies which increased work flow through the various departments. It involved putting in place a comprehensive communication system throughout the company and developing workflow techniques. Part of that significant change was showing the operators of the machines exactly what their contribution to the absorption dollars were to their departments and how it affected profit margins.

Twice per semester, I have the great opportunity to guest lecture at the College of Lake County. This involves preparing students for “Real World” or practical application of Lean Principles and their derivatives. This involves preparing lesson plans and PowerPoint presentations. Depending on the class being taught, this can change to varying degrees.
