Carbon-Free Car Design and Manufacture Project 07/2012-07/2013 Xiamen University, CHINA o Designed a carbon-free car.Utilized CAD software to draw detail drawings of the car. o Developed components and assembly CAD models by using Solidworks. o Manufactured the car. Learned to operate lathes, milling machines and CNC machines. Mainly used wire- cut electrical discharge machining.

Toaster Redesign Project 01/2015-05/2015 Syracuse University, Syracuse, NY o Redesigned a toaster using DFMA principles.

o Decomposed an existing toaster to identify improvement opportunities. o Utilized Solidworks to develop components and assembly CAD models. o Developed the prototype of the main part by using 3D printer. Gas Transmission Device Design Project 09/2013-06/2014 Xiamen University, CHINA o Designed a Gas Transmission Device for Electro Spinning Nano-fibers. o Utilized ANSYS software to do fluid simulation and modeling.
