Multi Site Operations/Outsourcing: Established a new software factory in Philippines. Established new legal entity in Philippines. Identified and negotiated for office space and furniture. Hired staff and local managers. Grew the software factory from two employees to 50. Results: Savings of $3MM per year. Product Development: Guided an enterprise level HR technology application through eight major revisions. Results: Increased sales of the product tenfold ($15MM) while also increasing current customer satisfaction to maintain renewals in the high 90s percents. Software Development: Spearheaded the re-architecture of an Enterprise level HR Tech application. Identified the need for new architecture in the company's primary product to decrease defects and improve developer performance. Developed, with architecture team, a new framework and planned it's adaptation to replace core framework of the product. Results: Significant improvement in product quality when using new framework, decreasing customer complaints and increasing customer retention. Quality Assurance: Integrated quality assurance and automated testing into product development. Established new quality assurance team to work alongside development teams in agile methodology. Also introduced automated product testing and created quality control programmer sub team. Results: Software defects were identified quickly and addressed before integration with core product, which dramatically increased the quality of the product and customer satisfaction. Continuing Process Improvement: Turned around a nonfunctioning software development division. Results: Decreased product defects, faster development times, better quality releases and increased departmental morale, resulting in $10MM increased revenue. Project Management: Standardized implementation project for state government implementations. Developed a standardized project plan and wrote standardized documentation to be used with governmental software implementations. Established baseline issue tracking and SLA's for customer reports. Client Relationship Management: Established a client services team to improve client satisfaction. Forged new client services team from employees spread throughout organization on two different continents. Created standard issue processing expectations and introduced a number of tools to increase productivity.
