Title : BI - Ignite

Description:-

Project Ignite is the replacement of Suncorp Bank’s core banking system with a more flexible, efficient and responsive platform. Earlier Oracle based OBP system is used for core banking, but now Ignite is moving to improving the quality of information available to Bank staff when servicing customers.

An important component of this project is the removal of reliance on older technology platforms that are cumbersome to maintain.

This migration includes Collections, Collateral, CASA, Term Deposits, AS-IS reports and Lending. Scope of current task is to migrate data from Oracle to Netezza and build new reports as per requirements set by customer.

This is done to developing an intermediate layer that is called I-Layer and building Dimensions and Facts. Then a report based ROFT layer is build for Reporting purpose. The Fact table is also used for Extracts for which the file will be extracted and provided to customer. Reporting includes Cognos and Tableau.

Title : PI Sizing Migration

Description:-

The Rx Sizing process that is currently used in IMS is using Abinitio to a greater extent in accomplishing the task. The Project Independence assignment aims to replace the existing Abinitio components with UNIX scripting and Netezza.

The Scope of current task is to convert the existing Rx Sizing process to execute on Netezza instead of Abinitio. The implementation does not have to reflect conversion of the Abinitio code rather the functionality that is being delivered via the existing Abinitio code.

Sizing process is done to determine the size of the store. It is done either weekly or monthly. The size of store is classified into Local, National and outlet. It will be done only for non-sample stores. Earlier system handles all the three channels, whereas the current system handles only Retail, Long Term Care data.

The Existing Product Imputation is imputing data for the current week based on history data using the same business logic used in Ab-initio. Based on Existing Products Imputation, New Product Imputation is developed. Only few graphs from EPI are used in NPI. New products can be imputed only if it has four weeks of history data.

Description:-

The ANX tables for Reporting and Non Reporting in the prescription database that are to be loaded on a weekly basis using the existing event for Rx fact load (from the Oracle UDB tables).

It covers step by step approach on how to extract the data from the oracle tables and load in to the ANEX tables in TDW through the load tables Reporting and Non Reporting. The jobs for the above loads need to be added to the sequence of job flows that load the DF2 RX fact tables. It also includes the approach on the full load of historical data from the oracle UDB tables to these ANEX tables.
