PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Field Service Technician

Contracted to work at refineries across the nation testing the air quality coming from the stacks/boilers. Requires climbing to the top, pulling up the analyzers, calculating stack diameters, up & downstream, and calibrating the analyzer. Involves troubleshooting the analyzers as they always tend to give strange numbers. Before each run a leak check in performed to assure all unions are tight and there is no kinks in the line. During the relative accuracy testing audit a range of gases are shot into the stack via a heated line that is connected to the analyzers, allowing me to see what kind of gases the stack is emitting. I also test refinery analyzers using CGA gases to assure they are reading the right number, if not I show them how to fix it.
