Directed the laying of 6 and 8 inch pipeline on the barge Warrior Chief, recently purchased from Bisso Marine in Louisiana, USA.

Crew had never used a conventional pipe lay barge using anchor winches operated from a control tower, stinger, and tension machine, we help guide and taught the crew to operate safely and productively.

Trained the anchor winch operator's to use use winches and survey necessary to lay pipe within safe boundaries

Trained supervisors, mechanics, and key personnel the proper use of the stinger and manual tension machine, and other aspects of the vessel.

Implemented guidance on simple safety issues, introduced pre-shift toolbox talks and JSA’s, recommended other helpful aspects to management regarding HSE

Leveraged vast knowledge of all HSE functions to ensure safety of incoming vessels; additionally coordinated security activities with US and Iraqi coalition forces.

Overcame the challenge presented by VLCC tanker and support vessel traffic at the Basra terminal to complete three 48-inch pipelines.

Directed the successful installation and completion of three 48-in pipelines for SBM installation, and set up for beach pulls, trunk lines and 600-ton valve manifolds as part of the Iraqi Crude Oil Export Expansion project for Southern Oil Company.

BARGE FOREMAN, TETRA APPLIED TECHNOLOGIES, LP (2006). Worked closely with client and company divers to decommission and salvage platform sections damaged by hurricanes, plugging abandoned wells and blasting remaining well strings on single jacket legs for final removal.

SENIOR SITE SUPERVISOR/CLIENT REPRESENTATIVE, PARADIP, INDIA (2006). Responsible for the direction of all phases for the project, including the onshore construction of 6 kilometers 14” pipeline for ONGC. Facilitated and supervised pipe offloading, site preparation, welding, NDT, inspections, coating of the final product, coordination with vessels to pull/tow the pipeline offshore to final tie-in position.

BARGE FOREMAN, PETRECO OIL & GAS, VARNA, BULGARIA (2003 – 2004). Led the offloading/sequencing of pipe and equipment, anchor plotting, and coordination of boat traffic during the installation of a 14-inch gas line in the Galata Field in the Bulgarian sector of the Black Sea. When necessary operated deck crane, 90 ton American mechanical lattice boom diesel.

Trained and supervised yard staff on hydraulic pipe line up machine for 1 mile pipe strings for the Deep Blue spool vessel.

Led the loading and offloading of quad joints, plets and sleds onto the M/V Damon B. Bankston for the Deep Blue on the Shell Nakika project Gulf of Mexico, water depth 6800 feet.
