Resume:

To whom it may concern:

I have three years of experience drawing blood for law enforcement agencies. During my employment I learned numerous important life skills. I have learned how to communicate under pressure, to trust, have confidence in myself, and have pride in what I do. Trying to explain a process to people who are under the influence is a bit challenging sometimes; they can become sad, scared, angry and even violent. I have made a reputation for myself to the officers I work for about how to deal with these emotional arrestees, they all trust me to be able to alleviate the subjects anxiety and makes them as comfortable as possible. I calmly explain the process that is ahead of them and what actions need to be done so they can go home as soon as possible. All of the officers I work with have faith in my performance and confidence I will get the evidence needed. I have to have a lot of trust in the officers to protect me from the arrestees that become violent. I have learned to adapt and be comfortable in every situation I am faced with. I am comfortable and successful with drawing blood in the back of cop cars, on curbs in freezing temperatures, at emotion death scenes, while someone is hand cuffed behind the back, even with a dozen officers holding the subject to the floor while they scream and fight. Without trust I would be timid and unable to get the evidence. I deserve the reputation I have and I am confident I can get the job done in an situation I am faced with. I take pride in the fact I am good at what I do and I enjoy knowing I am liked and respected by the people I work for.

I am a very dedicated, responsible and punctual individual. I am always eager to learn ways to better myself and those around me. When completing a task I always give my full efforts into making it the best I can. I have worked long and hard to be the phlebotomist I am today. I am looking forward to the opportunity to teach fellow employees what I have learned over the years and learn different ways to be successful. If given the opportunity to prove myself I guarantee I will not disappoint.

Thank you for your time and consideration
