Job description

Title:
Design of Mechanized Rotator for Cylindrical Objects
Description:
The aim of the project is to design a mechanized rotator to rotate or position the cylindrical jobs for circumferential welding & machining or for intricate assemblies in oil and gas pipe, wind towers, enormous pressure vessels and rocket tanks.
The major drawback of existing rotator models is that a common rotating axis is not maintained the same for cylindrical jobs of varying diameter.
The aim is to design a mechanized rotator which will overcome the above drawback and maintain a common rotating axis.

Title:
Design optimization of a Material Handling Vertical Lifting Fixture used for handling Rocket tanks.
Description:
The project work is to optimize the design of a material handling fixture used for handling rocket tanks at IPRC/ISRO, Mahendragiri.
The project work is to reduce the weight of the fixture, at the same time retain its strength by altering the design.
