-Discovered and developed a new approach to accurately measure inventory pulls in excess of allotted supply. The new approach fixed a 7-year old problem with a notoriously inaccurate report.

-Collaborated with a statistician to develop a vendor allocation tool that used statistical optimization techniques to optimally allocate part purchases with challenging part qualification issues, while minimizing penalties from vendor contracts.

-Built a new database application to replace an excel workbook that analyzed and reported global Factory Cycle Time metrics to senior management. This eliminated 15 man hours a week.

-Designed and built a dashboard using a BI Tool called Qlikview to easily analyze master data issues. This replaced a 50 gigabyte excel application and reduced the run time from 1 hour to seconds.

-Analyzed and uncovered a flaw in reporting specifications that derailed a previous attempt at this application. Corrected the algorithm and developed the solution.

- Created and maintained a database to help NASA’s Bioastronautics program track scientific publications and better answer Freedom of Information Act requests

-Developed a web application using Cold Fusion, web services and a SQL Server database to track the progress of various scientific countermeasure projects against established goals in NASA Human Spaceflight.

-Conceptualized and programmed eight biology-based educational games in Flash to teach intermediate and high school students various concepts in space biology, which were made available to teachers nationally through the web.
