Resume:

Mr. Frank D. Niklas, J.D. **** Palmetto Drive, Richmond, KY 40475

********@*****.*** 859-***-****

Frank has a unique and attractive blend of HR, legal (including Worker’s Comp.) and environmental, health & safety experience. He has over 11 years of experience in Human Resource Management and Employment Law. He has held corporate and plant leadership positions in HR, Law and EHS, sometimes all three at once, and has over 20 years of legal and management expertise. Frank has direct management experience in more than twenty manufacturing industries, union and non-union, domestic and international. He is a hands-on, boots on the ground problem solver that is equally comfortable on the plant floor and in the board room. Frank provided training, auditing and counselling services for more than 54 locations domestically and internationally. His legal knowledge of HR and EHS practices and regulations and the regulatory mindset provided invaluable insight to audits and compliance issues. Able to quickly and accurately digest new regulations and Court Rulings, Frank understands their operational impacts and can create company specific compliance measures while being ever mindful of business and labor issues.

During his tenure with PMC Global Management, Frank created policy, trained staff and local management (including union facilities) at 17 different subsidiary business units primarily in EHS matters. It was a travelling role in which Frank was able to quickly learn the particulars of diverse manufacturing plants and their management. It was this close and trusting frequent contact with the subsidiary business units that prompted the Management teams of many locations to enlist Frank’s help with HR and employee relations matters. He was very effective in dealing with unions and safety matters. He works extremely well with both management and plant labor staff and has proven to be able to contribute creative, practical ideas in solving problems. Additionally, Frank was able to engage the workforce by helping employees understand their vital role in the company’s success. Frank’s legal mind, knowledge of HR and of people pairs well with and compliments the management and labor forces he has worked with.

As the Human Resources Manager and Legal Counsel, Frank developed and delivered training sessions that ranged from both planned and informal, spur of the moment lunch talks, and has also delivered day long interactive workshops. With a strong legal background, Frank was also a key member of the acquisition team, performing due diligence and negotiating terms and writing contracts. Frank is also expert in matters of confidentiality and documentation of events which are crucial skills in HR and in business.

Frank went on to work in the animal feed supplement biotech industry (Alltech), utilizing his legal, EHS and HR skills to manage domestic and international matters. After about 5 years, the international travel became too intrusive to his young family, and so Frank began a successful career in sales, sales management and training and then business management, moving back into HR/Legal full time in June of 2104. In March of 2016, Frank’s experience and leadership skills were recognized by the majority owner and other managers of Compliance Advantage LLC. He was asked to take over as Interim President & CEO in addition to his duties as Director of HR and then was laid off, among many others, when the majority owner decided to wind down the business.

Frank is authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer and currently resides in Kentucky. He is local and ready to travel as needed. He is a personable and creative HR/Legal professional that will benefit any organization.
