Project Description:
This project was designed using 8051 microcontroller and it also comprises of an PIR sensor, an LCD module for displaying the status and a motor for opening and closing the gate. If the train crosses the first PIR sensor, then signal is sent to the relay and motor is started for closing the gate. After the train crosses the second PIR sensor the relay is energized and then the motor will be operated for opening the gate.
Project - 2 Data logger using Raspberry Pi.

Main aim of this project is to monitor temperature from LM35 sensor. For this we are using PIC16F877A PIC microcontroller to do analog to digital conversion. Analog voltage is taken from LM35 sensor and this is linearly proportional to temperature. Converted digital voltage is again converted into decimal number to display for the user. This decimal value is sent to Raspberry Pi through UART in PIC16F877A. The Raspberry Pi is mini-computer that will receive UART data from PIC microcontroller to display in monitor. To interfacing Raspberry Pi and PIC16F877A logic level shifter of HEF4050B IC is used. SIM300 GSM module is directly connected with Raspberry Pi via UART. So temperature value is periodically sent to user by SMS using SIM300 module. Finally this project is going to display temperature value in monitor connected with Raspberry Pi and send SMS to user.

Project Description:
In this project we developed the hardware which continuously monitors the health of the machine and sends message to mobile in the case of malfunctioning. Here we are monitoring the voltage and current drawn by a dc motor. In case if dc motor draws more voltage or current message is sent to the mobile.

Project Description:
This project is done for monitoring the attendance of employee’s, using PASSIVE RFID TAGS. The RFID Reader emits a low-power radio wave field, which is used to power up the tag so as to pass on any information that is contained on the tag. The data from RFID reader will be fed into the PC through USB where the VB environment will receive the data and Data base will save the daily timings.

Project Description:
This project is basically used in private cable TV networks to automatically enable and disable the network with respect to the given time by using PIC Microcontroller interface with RTC.
Achievements:
Athletics: participated in the marathon race and achieved the 3rd place in the Bharathiar University.
In inter college meet participated in the 5000mts and I achieved the 3rd place in the Bharathiar university.
