Lotus Notes consultant for the DPKO Portal project. Designed and developed a Staff Time Allocation Reporting System as well as a Change Management System for internal use for this portal project.

Streamlined the process of transferring data from a legacy Btrieve based accounting system used in the DPKO missions to a SQL Server based web application. The bandwidth available between the remote missions and UN HQ in New York cannot accommodate a straight database-to-database transfer so that a process was developed that uses Notes replication to effect the data exchange.

This system was developed with Lotus Notes handling the calendaring and scheduling back-end and Java for the front-end. The interface between Notes and Java in a Websphere environment was written using VisualAge for Java.

Designed and developed a Lotus Notes/Domino based content management application for a medical consulting website. Migrated the company’s HTML based medical website into the new environment allowing them more control over the update and maintenance of the site’s contents.
