Executive Summary:
I have worked to develop a skill set that incorporates most areas of operations management. My academic background is well-founded in many areas of business management from operations & finance to marketing & information systems. As a CPA, I have worked primarily in the service(s) and manufacturing industries rising gradually through the ranks during my tenure while developing a philosophical management style that takes great care in the initial process of acquiring company resources, providing those resources with the tools they require to succeed, and empowering them accordingly always focused on team-man-ship. I strive to develop policies and procedures that are fair to all and administer them as such. I have managed operations with up to 90 employees located both domestically and abroad. I take pride in the statement that I am sometimes described as a “dynamic” thinker with the ability to see the bigger picture, but when making decisions I always focus on the one true goal of a Company, “to hit financial objectives while growing next generation leaders and teams”.
Welspun Pipes Incorporated – Little Rock, Arkansas (June 2012 - present).
Welspun is a publicly traded multi-national manufacturer of premium steel tubular products for the oil and gas industry. Most recently, the Keystone Pipeline.
SR Accountant for Operations – As the SR Accountant for the US operations, I direct and manage the functions of the accounting and finance team which includes financial reporting, variance analysis, budgeting, and internal/external audits all the while maintaining GAAP, Ind-AS, and SOX compliant. My responsibilities include multiple other finance & accounting activities supporting the local operation and the parent company located in Mumbai, India.
Goodrich Corporation - CES – North Little Rock, Arkansas (April 1998 – Nov. 2011) Goodrich Corporation is a Fortune 500 Company.
Business Unit Director – In September 2010, Goodrich Corporation purchased DeCrane Aerospace - Audio International. As a result I was appointed Business Unit Director of the Cabin Electronic Services division. I managed the day-to-day operation of a design and manufacturing facility located in North Little Rock, Arkansas. My responsibilities included, but were not limited to profit & loss, capex/asset acquisition and management, budgeting, and new business development.
DeCrane Aerospace - Audio Intl Inc. – North Little Rock, Arkansas
DeCrane Aerospace - Audio International was a division of DeCrane Aerospace with primary responsibilities of developing and manufacturing FAA certified cabin electronics, in-flight entertainment, and software products for the business aerospace industry.
General Manager – After being promoted to General Manager of the operation in 2006 from VP of Finance and Administration, I directed the functions of the muti-national operation. I also served on multiple DeCrane executive committees. I was a member of the Sarbanes / Oxley (SOX) executive steering committee. During my administration the operation saw:

Wheatland Tube Company – Little Rock, Arkansas (1990-1998)
Wheatland Tube Company was a manufacturer of steel tubular products in the electrical, gas and water infrastructure markets.
Controller / Warehouse & Shipping Manager – at Wheatland I managed and directed the division’s accounting & financial reporting functions. I also managed 25 employees in the warehousing, shipping, and receiving departments. I was responsible for preparing and presenting the operation’s one, three, and five year capital assets and operating budgets. During my tenure, we implemented a standard/process costing system, implemented a bar code tagging/scanning & inventory control system, continued to set monthly shipping records while reducing shipping errors, and was a part of increased the company’s revenues to $40 million. I was appointed to several advisory positions on various committees formed by the division’s parent, John Maneely Company.
Comcast Corporation – Little Rock, Arkansas (1986-1990)
Comcast Corporation is the nation's largest providers of cable TV entertainment, information, and communication products and services.
Business Manager – At Comcast, I developed annual budgets, monitored current year results, and conducted monthly financial performance reviews. My responsibilities consisted of accounting, customer service, and information system functions servicing over 200,000 customers over multiple municipalities. I was the financial member of the operation’s acquisition and new business development team. During my employment the company acquired several new franchises and launched an advertising sales arm of the business. I was also responsible for employment legal issues, franchise compliance, and contract negotiations.
Prior International, Inc. - Dallas, Texas (1981-1986)
Prior International, Inc. was a manufacturer of axels and running gears for the transportation industry.
Controller – As one of four members of SR management, I coordinated the corporate accounting and information systems functions. My responsibilities included preparing budgets, financials, tax filings, and analytical reports. I directed the implementation of a customized “MRP” information system that resulted in a substantial reduction of “on hand” inventory. I was a team member on the operation’s M&A group and became very familiar with “leverage buyout” requisites.
