Managed 21 nonunion employees in the Warehouse/Production operations which include four delivery truck drivers.

Prepared operating/safety procedures and training sessions to meet facility requirements.

Designed and implemented new warehouse layout to maximize storage space that improved picking efficiency.

Improved production through put of wood and metal doors by developing a production report that monitored daily productivity and was shared with the production department so they could see what they were producing on a daily basis.

Warehouse Manager

Reduced the turnaround time in the Receiving Department of receipts to QA inspection from four days to same day processing.

Implemented and automated replenishment program to replenish floor stock inventory in the production work cells from the Raw Stores Warehouse.

Realigned warehouse aisles by product line to reduce travel time during work order pulls and improved picking efficiency by 40%.

Implemented a dock-to-stock and dock-to-work-in-process system to transfer parts directly from receiving to point of use in the production work cells.

Production/Manufacturing Manager (1994-1996)

As a Key User on project team responsible for implementation of new corporate computer system, specified and designed enhancement and prototype and test enhancement.

Conducted ongoing user training, and interacted daily with management and users to investigate and resolved system issues. Participated in design and implementation of Facilities Automation Systems, which controlled all inventory movement within warehouse.

Directed the manufacturing and automated warehouse decommissioning shutdown on the schedule time table.

Introduce inkjet –printing system into final marking process, which reduced lead times and improved drastically the cable print quality.

Equipped Extruders with Target System non-contact wire gauging system to reduce defects in the extrusion process.
