Scope: The purpose of my job is to serve as the trusted ally of the customer and aggressive advocate for all quality issues and initiatives in pursuit of Total Customer Loyalty.
Primary Functions:
Customers’ point of contact, 24 hrs on-call customer advocate for all quality related issues.
Work hand in hand with both Motorola factories & customers, with reject/defect on-site validation using customer’s bench set up and/or production set up, plus laboratory verification equipments as preliminary stage of an effective failure analysis.
Work to resolve all major (line-down situation, massive fallout, critical field rejects …etc) & minor quality issues within the allowable cycle time.
Work with application/customers’ engineers to develop application boards which serve as the primary Field Failure Verification tool. This gate ensures that all returns coming back to the factories for analysis are true rejects and are value added returns. The application boards will likewise be the vital tool in TNI/NTF analysis correlating ATE component level testing into customer module level testing. Validated rejects will then be sent to corresponding FA sites for further FA (when needed) & CA generation & implementation.
Interfaces with Motorola Customer Quality Engineers & product engineers on all customer returns & major quality issues.
