Internship at Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), Aircraft Division, Bangalore. In HAL Aircraft Division currently HAWK Advance Jet Trainer (AJT) aircraft is manufacturing. It is a licensed project from British Aerospace System (BAE System). Additional projects like A320 forward door, Boeing 777 landing up lock box, Boeing 737 Cargo main door, G150 Fitter rear fuselage & FA18 Fitter Gun bay door are also manufactured. I have trained by Executive Engineer employees of HAL in following HAWK manufacturing sections they are as follows:

Projects:

Analysis of Fluid Structure Interaction on an Aircraft (A380-800F) Wing. Fluid Structure Interaction (FSI) is defined by as the interaction between a fluid flow and a deformable body. FSI problems are in general to complex to solve analytically so they have to be analyzed by numerical simulations. Two main approaches exists they are Monolithic and Partitioned approach’s where governing flow and displacement of the structure are solved simultaneously using single solver and with two distinct separately solvers respectively.

This project involves designing of aircraft wing structure model in CATIA V5 R20. The model is then imported to ANSYS 14.5 Workbench in order to carry out the effect of FSI of an Airbus 380-800F wing. The computations were performed for wing by considering the transonic flow at subsonic mach numbers (M= 0.9). The stress induced corresponding to the flow has been successfully computed using the ANSYS Workbench. The results of Fluent Analysis and Static Structural Analysis obtained are validated with the previously published thesis. Participations:

Participated in Wright Turn in Mind Spark’13 organized by College of Engineering, Pune, Maharashtra State.

Participated in Zonal round of HackTricks-2012 a national level Hacking championship organized by iSecLABz in association with E-Cell IIT-Kharagpur. Achievements:

Awarded by Governor of Karnataka State as a Rajaya Puraskar Scout (State Award) in 2007.

Secured 1st place in “Make and Fly Remote Controlled Plane” in Intercollegiate Aero-Tech Fest (VYOM) conducted by Acharaya Institute of Technology.

Secured the “Best Model” award for Nuclear Reactor model in Science Exhibition organised by Science Forum in ACS College of Engineering.
