FTO hand-keys shipment information into an Excel spreadsheet (hereafter referred to as the “Manual” spreadsheet). However, this shipment information is incomplete and requires FTO to hen lookup additional Datacom data on a series of 3270 screens for each line item on the Manual. In addition, FTO receives a weekly spreadsheet (hereafter the “NRT” spreadsheet) of similar shipment information from a consolidator named National Retail Transportation Corp.
The purpose here is to provide FTO with functionality that replaces all of these 3270-screen lookups for Datacom data for both the Manual and NRT. We will do this by providing FTO with the ability to browse and select a spreadsheet which will then have the lookups performed against each line item on it. FTO will then be able to save the spreadsheet containing the original data plus the Datacom lookup data.
