Duties included system design and implementation, database design and development, creation of new functionality, and the support and maintenance of existing features. I converted the asp apps found at http://www.hrchally.com/cgi-bin/user/IDQuest.asp, http://assessment.knightsbridgepredictor.com/cgi-bin/User/KBIDQuest.asp, http://www.hrchally.com/oda/Validation.asp, http://www.hrchally.com/hrassistant/kbmainnx.asp, and http://www.hrchally.com/hrassistant/mainnx.asp to .NET. I first converted them to Visual Basic 2008, and then converted them to Visual C# 2008. I designed the asp-based systems, I created the tables to implement the systems, and I coded 99.9% of the asp pages. I also loaded all the tables needed to implement the applications. The application found at http://www.hrchally.com/cgi-bin/user/IDQuest.asp is in 23 languages. This application also worked for Arabic, but a contractor made changes so that the Arabic no longer displayed correctly.

I also developed a payroll, employee time management, job management, and employee attendance reporting application written in MS C. This application interfaced with a finger print reader and replaced the time clock in a CNC Machine Shop. All these jobs were fixed priced quotes. I also wrote an application in MS C that would interrogate a PCI motherboard and identify any PCI devices installed and return their UnitlD, Manufacturer ID, Register Memory Address, Base and I/O address, and IRQ #. Pettigrew used this application so that the proper settings could be manually set on their custom-made non-plug and play CNC controllers.

Contracted to develop various applications in Visual Basic, MS C, MS C++, .NET C#, MVC, MS Access, MS SQL Server 2008, and MySQL. A major application I developed over a period of 24 years is a bar-coding application that allowed users to design retail and shipping labels. This application was written in C using the MS Windows SDK. This application allowed users to generate various barcodes including Codarbar, Code128-B, CodeI28-C, Code39, Code93, EAN8, EANI3, I2OF5, HIBC, Logmars, Maxicode, Postnet, PDF417, UCC-128 Shipping Code, UPCA, and UPCE, fixed and variable data fields, various modulo check digits, time and date stamps, lines, boxes, blocks, and logos. These labels then could be printed to any windows printer and a variety of industrial thermal printers including Coginitive, DH-Pinnacle, Eltron, Fargo or Datamax, Sato, and Zebra. I developed the help files and setup packages.

I developed an evidence-tracking program used in the law enforcement industry. This application is written in Visual Basic. I designed and developed the application, help system, and modified the setup application per PMI’s request. I also converted the evidence-tracking program to .NET and C# using a MS SQL Server 2008 database.
