TITLE :Power Saving in the Escalator.

Duration :Final year (B.Tech)

Place :IIMT Engineering College Meerut, (UP)

Objective :This project will avoid unnecessary running of escalator when no

one is there and Hence saving lot’s of energy.

Description:

In this project, when any person comes near to escalator than Infrared sensor senses it and send command to control unit.

The control unit is connected with the DC motor and its attached with escalator starts running and person moves on it.

When person leaves the escalator than power is cut-off automatically through IR sensor with micro controller.

This process will continue wherever person comes near the escalator, Hence power is saved.

Attended 3rd conference on Opportunities in Coal Washing on NOV 26, 2015 at The Imperial, New Delhi.

This conference was attended by top Power delegates of India who consumes the Coal in large quantity e.g. (NTPC Ltd, Karnataka Electricity Board, Gujrat Electricity Board, Andhra Pradesh Electricity Board).

Main objective of this conference was to use washed coal for the better plant efficiency and emission control can be achieved by removing surface of ash present in the coal .
