Senior Material Program Manager Wakefield. MA June 2014 - Present

This was a hybrid Supply Chain position which supported the company to achieve its current stage of growth and development. As this was a start –up company I was instrumental in all facets of materials management, purchasing and planning functions. Additional roles were to collaborate with Engineering and support all supply chain related activities to support new product introductions (NPI). Supported the materials functions for following oversight teams; The Material Review Board (MRB); Engineering Change Order (ECO) support team; First Article Inspection Review (FAIR) team; and the Non-Conforming Report (NCR) materials programs.

Maximized the development, implementation, and directing the materials planning and purchasing functions for a very young and developing manufacturing organization, resulting in increased revenue by 700%.

Supported purchasing activities with over 200 vendors, prepared in excess of 1500 Purchase Orders with annual spend in excess of $10 Million.

Contributed material support to over 15 New Production Introduction (NPI) and engineering development projects from the concept phase through the release of a product into production.

Saved in excess of $1.5 million dollars in cost avoidance through detailed quoting and cost down initiatives.

Exceeded standards and improved processes supporting the Quality Management System (QMS). Achieving ISO-9001:2008 registration and two revalidations. Received additional certifications in five other customer audits.

Supported the go-live of Misys MRP System and relocation of inventory and day to day receiving operations to 3PL Logistics facility. Inventory consisted of over 2400 lines and a value of $3.5 million.

Introduced material planning and procurement processes to ensure that materials are maintained at target levels resulted in on time deliver improvement from 72% to 97%.
