Sr. Planner/Scheduler

Worked with team leads for the preparation of all documents necessary for the gate review during the Nexen Stage Gate Process. Also followed up with team leads to close out all action items generated by the gate review team.

Helped develop and maintain the overall risk register for the projects. Held quarterly risk workshops to add any new risks or close out any risks that no longer applied. Used the top pre and post mitigated risks to help develop and maintain an influencing plan to identify and discuss Nexen’s concerns with the operator.

Worked with internal team members to develop work plans to identify key focus areas of weekly/monthly activities. The work plans also helped identify milestone dates and completion dates for work tasks that spanned multiple departments.

Developed summary level work plans within each department to help with resource over-allocation and used resource leveling to see where additional personnel were needed.

Analyzed overall project schedule in a non-operator environment for deep-water Gulf of Mexico projects to help identify progress, critical paths and rate of float/allowance consumption.

Performed quarterly Cost and Risk Analysis to identify range of probabilistic dates and costs for the project.

Created and maintained project schedules for several divisions within Nexen including Drilling, Exploration, Operations and Subsurface.
