06/2014 to 11/2014

Was a parts inspector for General Motor's parts called GM249. I was to instructed to inspect every GM249 part put in front of me before it was to be boxed, labeled and shipped away. I had to inspect, probe gauge, drop gauge and pack the parts in either boxes or totes. I had to make labels and label the boxes/totes to the destinations that went as far as Mexico, Toledo Ohio, Canada, etc. I would produce about 1900-2200 parts a day. I worked alone. I also had to use what they called an "Eddy Current", which tested each part to see if they had been heat treated. No soft parts are permitted in the order. A soft part is considered a bad part and could have the entire order DMR'd. I worked 6 days a week about 58 hours a week. I am available for 1st shift or 3rd shift. I have my own transportation and daycare is taken care of. I'm eager to work ASAP.
