Responsibilities
Perform Gas Chromatography Analysis and its application.
Conducts micro analysis of Lecithin, Blend-E and margarine products including swabbing test on critical areas required.
Analyses and monitors the process control of Boiler Water Treatment.
Analyses, monitors and controls the processing of oil blending, adjustment of its blend ratio and does instrumentation and analysis such as Fatty Acid Composition, Methylation etc.
Analyses, monitors and inspects/spot checks loading/unloading of oil to/from tankers, barges and packed products.
Conducts sampling and analysis of incoming/outgoing raw materials/finished products and sees to it that these pass the required standard specifications.
Prepares and standardizes chemical reagent solutions to be used for various analyses.
Collates and maintains file of all incoming and outgoing deliveries.
Responsible in preparing anti-oxidants required by each customer to be added in the oil delivery.
Prepares purchase requisition for laboratory reagent chemicals, glassware’s, anti-oxidants and other requirements needed.
Conducts monthly inventory for anti-oxidants/chemicals and laboratory apparatus.
Supervises and monitors analysis of customer’s complaints and conducts actual analysis and re-alignment with customer’s chemist if there are discrepancies in laboratory results.
