Administration in Marketing from Georgia State University, Certification in Spa Management /Aesthetics

from New York and received Spa Director Training Certification in Canada.

I would be great for this opportunity because the Spa Industry is not just a job. For me, it is a lifelong

career. I am passionate about Beauty/Anti-Aging/Health. I am educated, energetic, flexible, motivated,

independent, and dependable. I enjoy working with different cultures and personalities. I have been

employed in the service industry for 15 years. Thus, I have mastered the art of going "above and beyond"

for guests.

I worked as the Assistant Spa Director at Lyford Cay Spa, in Lyford Cay, Bahamas. I have passion for

longevity, wellness and beauty. I am familiar with the Elemis, Clarins, Repechage, and Phytomer lines. I

assisted the Spa Director with client acquisition/retention by writing ads for Valentine's Day etc, creating a

brochure, writing a Spa Policies and Procedures Manual, putting ads in the newspaper, influencing

businesses to purchase gift cards for top performers, scheduling, improving guest satisfaction by creating a

"Guest Satisfaction program". For this, I hired 'spa shoppers' to rate therapists in terms of client

satisfaction. This would keep everyone motivated to give excellent customer service because they didn't

know when it would be done and the therapist with the highest scores would win some money. In terms of

retail sales, I motivated everyone by giving prizes to the top performer every month. I also created client

intake forms and client survey cards in order to focus on clients' needs and to find out directly from the

guest what we can do to improve the spa. I also made sure that policies and procedures set by the Spa

Director were adhered to at all times and the spa appearance was immaculate. I made sure everyone was

properly trained by liaising with Phytomer's international trainers and setting up training times. I

responded to e-mails from vendors, guests, colleagues in a timely manner and checked inventory.
