OPTICAL ENCODER

The project is based on determining the angle turned from its initial position and current position during the operation of a motor. An optical encoder is an angular position sensor.

It is an electromechanical device which has an electrical output in digital form proportional to the angular position of the input shaft. Thus optical encoders enable an angular displacement to be converted directly into a digital form.

AUTOMATIC MOBILE AND CAMERA USAGE PREVENTING SYSTEM

This is one of the projects using the microcontroller for preventing the mobile phone and camera usage inside the premises. The intelligent machine is loaded with several units such as RF transmitter and receiver, RS 232 LCD, Microcontroller, Driver, Relay, Decoder and Encoder which are synchronously work with the help of a start-of-the-art Atmel microcontroller. This project is a technical advancement and can be applied effectively and efficiently in an expanded dimension to fit for the requirement of many applications.

JOB PROFILE:

My project is based on Agriculture titled,” AUTOMATIC SMART IRRIGATION CONTROLLER FOR RURAL AGRICULTURAL PROCESS” using Embedded technology.

This project deals with how water can be distributed evenly and how it can be saved by using water management technology. The main theme is to control the water for an irrigation system by automatic method thus it doesn’t need any man power. This way of water management to the field give good yield for the farmers, power consumption is low, water does not go waste. This project is very inexpensive which can be affordable by poor farmers and it is suitable for all climatic conditions. The project uses an Arduino which is programmed to receive the input signal of varying moisture condition of the soil through the sensing arrangement. This is achieved by using Soil moisture sensor, rainfall sensor, humidity sensor and water level sensor.

Once the Arduino receives this signal, it generates an output that drives a relay for operating the water pump. An LCD display is also interfaced to the microcontroller to display status of the soil and water pump. The sensing arrangement is made by using two stiff metallic rods inserted into the field at a distance.
