CAREER OBJECTIVE:

I qualified as Chartered Accountants CA(SA) in 2009. After the completion of my training contract with Deloitte I was employed as the General Manager for a Battery Bay and Battery Maintenance company. The entity experienced significant growth and in 2013 Eternity Technologies South Africa was formed. Eternity Technologies specializes in the import and manufacture of Motive Power Batteries for the Material Handling market in South Africa. I was employed, and currently hold the position of, Managing Director.

I firmly believe that I have a proven record of accomplishment as a manager in both Finance and Operations, and as such, will be suited for the role of Accountant. MMD Steel Products CC designs and manufactures battery bays for the material handling industry in South Africa. MMD also provides staff to maintain these battery bays at the customers DC on a 24/7 basis.

Eternity Technologies Pb(SA) Pty Ltd, JHB, South Africa Eternity Technologies is the sister company to MMD Steel Products CC. Due to the significant success experienced by MMD Steel Products, it was decided to form a new entity specializing in the supply of Motive Power Batteries to the materials handling equipment market in South Africa. Eternity Technologies imports battery cells from Dubai in the UAE and chargers from Fronius International operating out of Austria.

Responsibilities:

The execution of the Brand Strategy, strategic, tactical and action plans

Develop and maintain a positive professional corporate image with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure positive response to, perception and trust of the business

Identify and address problems and opportunities central to business success promptly, and solve critical issues.

Ensure the compilation of annual financial statements, organise the audit thereof and schedule meetings with directors and shareholders for approval, within the time-bracket required by the companies’ act.

Direct and coordinate the organization's financial budget to increase efficiency.

Appoint department heads and managers in conjunction with HR and delegate responsibilities to them.

Analyse operations to evaluate performance of the company and to determine areas of potential cost reduction, program improvement or policy change.
