1.Automatic gage proposal system Description: Using VBA, created an automated gage preference tool in PPR forms based on specification limits. Result: Eliminated gage variability for measurements and ease the process of selection based on tolerance limits.
2.Setting up Statistical Process Control system between Kohler and Suppliers Description: Created a visual tool in excel for receiving inspection team to make lot decision based on SPC data. Result: Understanding the supplier’s product quality before shipment and avoid RGA/ deviation.
3.Developed and implemented a process in creating an inspection plan for top warranty products Description: Effective inspection plan with the inputs from DPPM data, warranty data and supplier’s assessment. Result: Reduced defect leakages in the field.
4.Optimization of scheduling workers to jobs in an assembly station Description: Application of linear programming algorithms. Result: Optimal allocation of jobs to workers without compromising on service levels.
