Identified the exclusive components in various subsystems like cooling, fuel, exhaust, operator platform.

Components were Sheetmetal Fenders, Bulkhead, Bonnet mounting, Plastic guard, Engine mounts, shift levers, Radiator mounts, Intake hoses and pipes, Exhaust pipe, cooling hoses, Steering pipelines and hoses, brackets, seat base mountings, Cabin Floor Footstep, Cabin Floor Mat.

Designed 3D models for 47 exclusive components in PTC Creo, released Alpha, Beta drawings and EBOM.

Assembled complete vehicle layout & uploaded in Windchill, conducted stack analysis using AutoCAD.

Conducted analysis in Ansys Workbench for new components, Created DFMEA for the various subsystems.

Co-ordinated with cross functional team to develop proto and beta components, Vehicle validation.

2. Reliability growth analysis of ‘Tier 4 Common Rail DI’ Diesel Engines - USA Market. Sep 2014 – Jul 2015

Prepared DFMEA, FRACAS, Root cause analysis from warranty data of Tier 3 Engine.

Evaluated the MTBF of the Tier 4 engines and solved in extending the MTBF.

3. Vibration analysis of 8F-2R Gearbox at various Gear shifts. Aug 2014 – Jun 2015

Formulated the mathematical model of the transmission layout to obtain data for analysis.

Determined the Torsional & lateral vibration frequency of gearbox using Raleigh method & Ansys software.

Identified exclusive components for new driver platform, designed 3D model, released drawings and EBOM.

Designed tractor cabin, Brake, Clutch and Throttle controls and released drawings, vehicle EBOM.

Assembled complete vehicle layout & uploaded in Windchill, conducted stack analysis, design verification.

6. Massey Ferguson 9500 Independent Power Take off (IPTO) 58Hp - India Market. Jul 2012 – Oct 2013

Designed steering system and Independent power take off system exclusive components like hydraulic clutch and control valves. Common oil (Transmission oil) for all hydraulic systems in tractor.

Steering return oil was used as input to integrated control value that controls the engagement and disengagement of hydraulic clutch thereby power take off system.

Designed 3D models of 24 exclusive components, conducted stack analysis, released drawings & EBOM.

Conducted analysis for the exclusive components. Prepared DFMEA for complete system.

7. Introduction of Ready to use gaskets (RTUG) for oil leak proof. Mar 2013 – Jul 2014

Conducted test trails using an alternate gasket type to eliminate oil leaks in tractor and implemented in production.

8. Determination of critical frequencies of propeller shaft of truck using modal analysis. Sep 2011 – Mar 2012

Performed modal analysis on propeller shaft of Ashok Leyland 1616 truck by physical testing. Utilized LabVIEW software to determine various frequency modes that is closer to Pass-by noise level of 160 Hz

Utilized damping materials. Repeated trials to examine whether frequency modes are far away from PBN level.
