Responsible for ground-up construction and daily oversight of a multi-story, multi-unit luxury apartment complex with state-of-the-art MEPs. Scheduled and managed multiple subcontractors to insure adherence to plans and specifications. Worked closely with subcontractors to develop structurally and functionally sound solutions to unforeseen problems. Responsible for workplace safety and security, OSHA compliance and project record keeping and documentation. Worked with owners to initiate and implement changes as desired. Turned the project around from behind schedule to completion and initial occupancy within the scheduled time frame.

AU BON PAIN CO, INC. Boston, MA CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT Multiple Projects $9M Construction and Development for a chain of French Bakery Cafes. Had full responsibility for all construction, design, engineering, real estate development and major maintenance. Completed projects in major metropolitan areas including Boston, NYC, Washington DC, St. Louis, and Houston; Each of these locations presented a unique challenge in that they were located in very different spaces which had to be adapted to the French bakery cafe concept.
Knowledgeable of the equipment required as well as the design and layout of kitchen and service areas for the French bakery cafe concept.
Responsible for the $3.5 M expansion of the Au Bon Pain corporate manufacturing facility located in Boston which required knowledge of the entire manufacturing process
Initiated an energy conservation program and cost reduction program for all company properties.
As a member of the site selection committee, handled all phases of unit development, from feasibility studies through unit opening.

Concept conversion of several hundred restaurants from the restaurant’s original concept to four new concepts, No Place Like Sam’s, Seasons, Pleasers and Godfather’s Pizza.
