Conduct Safety Timeout as and when required by the Company

Conduct Safety Campaign as to promote safety at workplace as per Company arrangement

Work hand in hand with NEA to ensure surrounding workplace is free from harboring vector and eliminate potential pollution to the environment.

Advice the contractor on the following matters in respect to the Environmental, Health and Safety requirement of the project:

The Prevention of injury to personnel and damaged to equipment and materials, including the application of safety procedures

Further improvements to existing safe/ sound working method and risk assessment including those arising from new developments

The provision, use of suitability and required standards of protective clothing and safety equipment

The suitability of new and hired plant and equipment and the validity of all appropriate test certificates

Any changes in legislation related to safety, health and environment

Monitors the overall WSHE performance of the project, identifying unsafe condition and procedures and recommending corrective actions.

Recommends to the Project Manager for cessation of any unsafe condition that work cannot be carried out with due regards to workman’s safety.

Responsible for the establishment and maintenance of all safety and health recordkeeping systems and will liaise with the Statutory Bodies with regards to any WSHE matters.

Act as Secretary to the WSE Committee.

Compile daily and monthly WSHE reports.

Responsible for ensuring all parties comply to the implementation of the Permit-to-Work systems and issuing the PTW Reference Number to facilitate work coordination purpose among stakeholders.

Accountable to the Project Manager for implementation of the site Environmental, Health and Safety management system

Attended meeting with Client & Main-Contractor to discuss on any safety related matters.

Participate in WAH Focus Group which objective is to eliminate WAH risk activity to low level at site.
