Undergraduate Project:

Worked with Disaster management and made a kit that contained ECG, Spo2, and temperature sensor in one briefcase that can be carried easily to the Disaster affected areas. The kit will provide efficient first aid to the people in need and will help saving lives. Keeping in mind the advancements that can be done within the kit are as following:

Solar power based power supply

Modalities such as NIBP, Defibrillator etc

Wireless Data Transfer

Graduate Project:

Six Sigma Project - “American Empire Manufacturing”

Provided packaging and filling solutions for various industries. AEM have patented a snap-tip tube for unit dose filling. Manufacturing companies such as AEM must constantly improve to keep up with demand in the market.

Problem Description:

Exact amount filled is not closely monitored

Majority are between the USL and the median

This reduces the overall efficiency of the process

Maximum possibility for product failure due to leakage because of more liquid fill

Only considering one generic product for this project

Conclusion:

Application of DMAIC to reduce overfilling

Thorough description of the DMAIC analysis can be found in the report

Lessons Learned:

There are many factors that affect the efficiency of a process

Six Sigma is a great tool to improve process Quality
