Sr. QA Analyst

Information Reporting and Integrated Services (IRIS) is a JPMorgan application platform that consolidates balance and transaction information from multiple banking systems and provides fast retrieval of the consolidated information through multiple interfaces. IRIS integrates with multiple JPMorgan Access applications such as JPMorgan Access Cash Reporting, Access Next Generation Report Center, ANG Common Services, JPMAccess Direct Transmissions, PWS, H2H and Liquidity products.

IRIS aggregates internal DDA information from U.S. Domestic, International, and Third Party (Swift, Metavante, and JNE) sources. IRIS provides data access to various transaction reporting and account balances. IRIS has an administration user interface called the IRIS Customer Support Tool.

Responsible for leading on-shore and off-shore resources to test several of the JPMorgan application. As a

Spearheaded the project to move the Data Center to Chicago.

After settiing up the VMs, copying Databases and installing the software in the Chicago office there

was a three month parallel test run.

Core Pieces tested:

Reports generated were the same in both Datacenters.

BeyondCompare was used to test the Reports.

Using the tool Redgate the Databases were compared after a client file was processed in both.

Care Manager :

TransUnion Healthcare Care Manager provides an User interface for the Case workers to interview patients and create a ‘Care plan’ for the patients. It offers an interview tool which provides standard questionnaires for various types of Diseases and the ability to store and retrieve this information from the Database.

Benefits of Care Manager:

Allows the Case workers to prioritize the work on a daily basis.

Allows the Case workers to interview their patients.

Ensure the follow ups are done by the patients in a timely manner.

For P4P Organizations data is used to create the P4P reports.

IHMF ( Integrated Health care Management Foundation ) is one of the product developed/maintained in the Trizetto portfolio. The overall objective of the IHM Foundation Engine is to automate and streamline the flow of information between all participants in a healthcare related event. Maximum allowable Benefit are computed in the 'Core Engine' and relayed back to the Clients. These numbers were intensely tested in 'Regression testing'.

Was also involved in building a new system that will generate a 'Dynamic message' for each claim that passes through the system.

HR – Payroll Conversion to SAP:

Lead a team of 5 Mainframe developers to develop reports that are driven from DB2 data. Stored procedures feed data to the COM object and the ASP pages.

Extensively involved in coding DB2 stored procedures and creating user defined functions for the main tool and for the reports.

Analyzed 20 payroll Mainframe jobs preparing file and report layouts. Definition interfaces for the SAP Payroll conversion project.

IPS – Danaher Receipts/Invoices:

Danaher and Sears have contractually agreed to use the Sears copyright name ‘Craftsman’ on all Danaher industrial tools. For this Danaher will pay Sears a royalty on the sales of its industrial tools.

This project focuses on data transmitted to Danaher. Since Danaher can receive only EDI810s IBM has setup a job to convert EDI812(Sears standard) to EDI810 (Danaher standard). There are 3 feeds for this conversion.

Royalty for Danaher Manufactured products.

Claims reversal (SQC) for Non-Danaher manufactured products.

Royalty for Non-Danaher manufactured products.

Developed COBOL II/DB2 program to create EDI812s.

Also, involved in the QA testing in developing test cases and running the jobs in the QA Environment.

ALLSTATE INSURANCE, Northbrook, Illinois 2000 – 2004

ATLAS – Allstate Total Life Accounting System:

Financial planning for the insured and their dependents usually involves the purchase of at least one of two basic types of life insurance: term or universal life. Term provides a death benefit, whereas universal life combines a death benefit with a cash value. Allstate offers several versions of these policy types. The complex job of maintaining and updating the records for policy holders is handled by the staff at the Allstate Life Service Center (ALSC). They in turn rely on the ATLAS system for processing the large volume of information.

Transferred files via FTP to other business clients.

Automatic contractual changes.

Internal administrative processing.

Results reporting to policy holders, agents, and the end-user community.

Solved S0C1/S0C7 problems using DUMPMASTER, STARTOOL and SMARTEST.

Agents’ Book of Business and various other projects:

As Team Leader, lead the analysis/design phase while coordinating and coding the system.

Coordinated and resolved associated training and maintenance issues.

Being a nationwide application, this project required extensive interface with the Allstate Business and Legal user communities, to understand and define government and industry regulations and requirements. A major challenge was to produce a reliable user-friendly business application that provided safety measure concerning regulations and legal precedence.
