Treating DT40 cells with H2O2 and looking for upregulation and downregulation of Apoptotic genes using RT-PCR. Also using chicken embryo for part of research.

Measuring Effect of Prescription Drugs in a Chicken Model of Neural Development. Performed Microarry using RNA obtained from chicken embryo treated with Diazepam to check effect of anti seizure drug on developing embryo. Result obtained was presented as poster at Lehigh Valley Society of Neuroscience.

Research in BioLead 2014 under supervision of Dr. K.J. Karnas and Dr. Audrey Ettinger, Biological Sciences Department, Cedar Crest College, 2014.

Worked with DT40 cells, treatment with chemicals to induce apoptosis and check for apoptotic cells by flow cytometry technique. Designed protocol for cell culture and staining DT40 and HeLa cells with fluorescent dyes.
