POSITION: CNC Machinist/Production Operator
OBJECTIVES:

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Fabricated mould, machine parts spare, jigs and fixture.
Fabricated and repair injection mould and thermoforming mould.
Analyzed injection moulds and remedies defects.
Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, orthographic drawings, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters; interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).
Plans stock inventory by checking stock to determine amount available; anticipating needed stock; placing and expediting orders for stock; verifying receipt of stock.
Programs mills and lathes by entering instructions, including zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches; calculating requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry; proving part programs.
Sets-up mills and lathes by installing and adjusting three- and four-jaw chucks, tools, attachments, collets, bushings, cams, gears, stops, and stock pushers, indicating vices, trimming heads.
Loads feed mechanism by lifting stock into position.
Maintains specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling and thread chasing operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls; sharpening and replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.
Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
Calculate dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and instruments such as micrometers and vernier callipers.
Machine parts to specifications using machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, shapers, or grinders.
Measure, examine, and test completed units in order to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications, using precision instruments such as micrometers.
Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machines.
Study sample parts, blueprints, drawings, and engineering information in order to determine methods and sequences of operations needed to fabricate products, and determine product dimensions and tolerances.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
Can work with minimum supervision.
MasterCamX5 programming.
Siemens NX programming
Set up, programmed and operated CNC Milling Machine (MAZAK VCN510C II and MAZAK VCN510C).
Set up, programmed and operated CNC Lathe Machine (MAZAK Quick Turn 4T).
Knowledgeable in G- codes M- codes in CNC Programming.
Capable to program, set up and operate CNC Milling Machine FANUC Control especially (FANUC Series 0i-MC).
Performed set up, programming and operating combination CNC Milling Machine and CNC Lathe Machine (MAZAK QUICK TURN).
Has extensive knowledge in reading and analyzing mechanical drawings.
Knowledgeable to use different measuring equipment such as micrometer, plug gauge, gauge block, calliper, dial gauge.

Set up and operate conventional lathe and milling machine.
Capable to set up and operate EDM machine.
