Job Responsibilities

To prepare and effectively implement action plans to improve overall equipment efficiency of production machines.

Development and commissioning of Welding and Assembly fixtures.

Leading a team of 80 technicians in production both line ETC & FPC, maximizing. Operational efficiency with, sequencing, lean manufacturing system. Ensuring conformance to MNRE and enhancing safety.

Co-coordinating with R&D and other departments for essential modifications on line for optimal efficiency.

Synchronizing new model development as key member (production) trials with Projects and R&D personnel.

Determine bottlenecks for current production levels as well as future growth requirements.

Analyzing Process Rejection, Rework and Taking countermeasures to control through PDCA cycle, 5 W, Quality Circles.

Quality inspection of welding as per Customer requirement and maintain the record for the daily work.

Monitoring of hourly production Vs hourly production plan.

Shop floor administration, handling skilled manpower.

Co-ordinate with workers & ensure proper housekeeping.

Daily Tool consumption, Production reports preparation & analysation down time analysis.

Functioned as liaison between shop workers and management.

Motivate the shop workers to ensure strategic goals and achieve bottom line objective.
