Maintenance Technician/ Lead Technician/Planner Project Manager/Site Services Coordinator March 2004 - 2016 Novo Nordisk, Inc. Clayton, NC

Lead technician for installation, validation, and continuous production for multiple automated production lines in a 24/7 Pharmaceutical environment. Project manager for several projects bringing major high-speed production lines into the plant from Europe. Worked with teams from Denmark, France, Germany, and Switzerland to develop, build, transport, install, validate, and bring lines into production quickly exceeding required OEE proficiency. Developed teams, hired operators and technicians, and developed and administered training for new operators. Maintained the lines as the work cell leader.

Created and managed Sop’s, Validation protocols, Safety standards, and all FDA, GMP, and regulatory requirements related to production maintenance operations.

Performed hands-on troubleshooting and repair of pneumatic, hydraulic, electronic, and automated systems. Lead in programming and troubleshooting several PLC’s including Allen Bradley, ABB, Siemens, Omron, Mitsubishi, Hitachi, General Electric, and Honeywell. Experience with operation and troubleshooting of low control voltage 5 to 24V DC and up to 480V AC. Calibrations experience including temperature devices, flow devises, weight devices, and pressure devices. Worked on all sizes of AC and DC motors including Servo and Stepper motors.

Facility and production maintenance technician for a company that made semi-conductor silicon wafers. Worked in a clean room environment with toxic gases in a very delicate manufacturing operation.

Assorted positions before and during college 1976 – 1995 U.S. Army, Burger King, Rite Cable (now CVI) Worldwide, Triangle Area NC

Worldwide U.S. Army positions included Satellite Communications Repairman and instructor, Nuclear Missile Inspector, and Drill Sergeant. Honorable Discharge in 1992 at rank of E6 Staff Sergeant. Managed a Burger King after the Army while attending school. Ran an office and supervised a team of 20 cable installers for Rite Cable in Clayton and Greensboro. Performed quality inspections and customer service.
