SUMMARY

Twelve years of experience in the instrument/electrical field. Eleven years of experience in the design of electrical and instrumentation systems for industrial application, and one year experience in electrical related assignments. While under direction of Lead Designer, Instrumentation and Electrical design experience includes full design packages including one-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, schematics, cable tray and conduit systems, lighting, grounding, equipment layout, switch racks, analyzer buildings, fiber optics, communications, cable routing, and multi-cable transit design.

EXPERIENCE

2013-2016 I/E Designer III, Englobal/FTS/Burrow Global

From January 2013 to August 2014 I provided Electrical & Instrumentation

Design support for Huntsman Port Neches’s new Aqueous Ethylene Oxide F8

Unit, including Grounding, Power and Cable Tray Packages. From

September 2014 to June 2015 I provided Electrical and Instrumentation design

support for BASF Port Arthur, for Condensate Recovery and Analyzer jobs

including complete Electrical Packages consisting of Lighting, Grounding,

Power, and Instrumentation. Also provided I/E design support for Flint

Hills Resources Port Arthur in support of Analyzer Building Layout.

2011-2012 I/E Designer II, WorleyParsons Resources & Energy

From June of 2011 to December of 2012 I provided on-site Instrumentation and Electrical Design Support for the Valero Expansion-Project, Port Arthur, TX. This extremely fast paced, 1.6 Billion Dollar project included construction of three major units: Hydro Cracker, Saturated Gas Recovery & Amine Treatment Units. My Instrumentation Support Duties for this effort included: P&ID markups/revisions, Valero Instrument Installation Detail revisions & building Loop Folders in preparation of Loop Checking. My Electrical Support Duties for this effort included: Complete Lighting & Grounding Design on various offsite areas, Cable Tray modifications to resolve conflicts with obstructions, specification and order of various electrical components, and answering RFI’s as required for our I/E contractor. Also while on project, I coordinated with Refinery I/E Dept. on various issues including: outages, conduit & power line relocations, preliminary design ideas and general construction conflicts with Design Packages, as well as serve as project I/E QA/QC rep when required.

2010-2011 I/E Designer II, Chicago Bridge and Iron (CB&I)

While at CB&I, on contract through Lutech Resources I worked on design of

routing HVAC, PAGA & Fiber optic cables throughout Extraction and Tank Farm areas of Kearl Oil Sands Plant, for Imperial Oil Resources in Canada. I was also responsible for design and layout of multi-cable transit drawings for electrical buildings, pump houses, and various other buildings using Roxtec Transit Manager Software.

2006 – 2010 I/E Designer, Englobal Automation Group, Inc.

As an I/E Designer for the ConocoPhillips DCS UPGRADE LARC Controls Modernization Project, I assisted in the completion of the Instrument and Electrical Design Packages that included: electrical power distribution systems, cable tray systems, area lighting systems, fiber optics, gai-tronics communication systems, RIE Bldg Equipment arrangement, lighting, grounding, power distribution, motor schematics and wiring and relay panel layout wiring. As an I/E Designer for the ExxonMobil O&A IKE Recovery Project, I assisted in the design and completion of replacing PLC’s, Junction Boxes, Relay Panels and Marshalling Cabinets. As an I/E Designer for the DuPont SRW CD&G Control Modernization projects, I assisted in the completion of Electrical Design Packages that included: electrical power distribution, cable tray, area lighting, fiber optics, RIE Bldg Equipment arrangement, lighting and grounding,

2004 – 2006 Electrical Designer, Englobal Engineering, Inc.

As an Electrical Designer I assisted in the completion of electrical design packages including: electrical power distribution systems, pole line systems, substation design, motor controls, area lighting systems, RIE building equipment arrangement and grounding systems. I worked with Clients including: Atofina, ChevronPhillips, ExxonMobil BCSP, ExxonMobil O/A, ExxonMobil Refinery, Valero, Motiva, and Total.
