Alexis Doherty

EDUCATION:

I graduated Friendswood High School with a GPA of 3.65. I am about to finish my first year of college at University of Houston Clear Lake. My original major was Biological Science but I just recently transferred to the Business of Finance.

WORK EXPERIENCES:

My very first job was at HEB in Friendswood. I started off as a bagger which I stayed for a good year. I moved up to a checker which I also was for a good year, and then eventually saw my opportunity to go into produce where I ended up processing orange juice and guacamole. I stocked the shelves as well as helping out with inventory and ordering product. I ended up transferring to Clear Lake 2 HEB where I stayed in Produce and worked in the cold press room where we made all different types of fruit/vegetable juices. Absolutely loved working 40 hours and never minded over time when it was necessary. I have now found my end with the company and would like to further my career path and learn new experiences with different types of professions to help motivate my degree plan. SKILLS:

I am pretty good with electronic devices, I get that from my father. It might take me a while to figure things out, but I always get it in the end. I enjoy working, sitting at home just isn't my thing anymore. I enjoy new sights and new work environments, as well as meeting new people and learning new ways of communicating. I am good with kids, as well as I am good with strangers. I attend in conversation fairly well, and am a very good listener. I am good with anything once I get familiarized with my surroundings.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

I have babysat my entire life, from newborns to twelve year olds. I absolutely love helping people. I put others before myself which gets taken for granted a lot of the time. I was in band for seven years and played the flute. Absolutely loved it and it forever made me passionate about music. Music is my go to for everything, bad days, good days, sad days, mellow days.
