Resume:

Hello,

I have an extensive background of experience and accomplishments within the Quality

Assurance and Operations areas of Food Production. I have worked for major corporations such as Mars and Tesco/ Fresh and Easy Neighborhood Markets and developed quality, food safety and production systems for smaller and starter companies. At Mars I had responsibilities within multiple areas. As a Co Manufacturing Quality Coordinator, I established and monitored quality standards for co packers of Mars candies, Dove Ice Cream, Uncle Ben’s Rice, Pedigree and Whiska’s pet food. I was also a Vendor Assurance Coordinator, where my responsibilities included maintaining the ingredient and packaging specification database for Mars Pet North America and ensuring suppliers were in compliance with company standards by performing supplier audits and evaluations. I also had progressive promotions throughout Production

(including waste water treatment/ vendor management), Continuous Improvement, R&D and the Commercial Departments.

I was a Technical Manager for Fresh & Easy Markets. My responsibilities included establishing vendor quality and food safety guidelines for the canned foods, coffees and teas, nut butters, jams and fruit preserve lines. I was BRC Audit Certified and performed over 70 supplier audits within one year. I guided the suppliers to ensure they complied with our ingredient portfolio and maintained legal compliance for label claims and nutritional panels.

As QA Manager for Torn & Glasser, I developed the HACCP, GMP, SSOP, Allergen, Organic and Kosher protocols. Torn & Glasser had over 6,000 skus and provided most of the bulk items for Sprouts and roughly 75% of the trail mixes for Trader Joe's. I also managed R&D, product development and recipe creation. In addition, I created nutritional panels and approved artwork for packaging. In just under two years as Operations Manager for Caro Nut, I managed the team that designed, constructed and installed the following: receiving, warehousing, pre process sorting, roasting, nut butter grinding, three distinct packaging lines, storage and shipping areas. I have developed the same quality and food safety systems as with Torn & Glasser. In addition, I have managed the implementation a new ERP/MRP system (SAGE) as well as the inventory control, engineering, production, warehouse and logistics departments. Thank you for your consideration. I look forward to your contact. Best Regards,

Jason Anderson
