Manage a large truck fleet division. Environmental works on UST's and AST's removal, installation and certification. Field Operations, overseen over 100 employees (direct and indirect). Manage multiple shops locations. In charge of Fleet maintenance and repairs, servicing all company vehicles. Recruit, train and certify technician, drivers. Over the road emergencies responder and recovery. Including Haz-Mats spills. Heavy negotiation of contracts, and insurance claims.

Implemented a Fleet Maintenance Program in order to maintain all heavy equipment in readiness condition avoiding unnecessary downtime. Manage equipment availability and responsible for parts inventory at the warehouse. Increased payloads, routing and accuracy from 50% to 95%+ and improved on-time delivery from 60% to 85%. Negotiate with carriers and suppliers the cost of parts, fuel and transportation rates. Accomplished and administer a Safety program with all employees and sub-contractors.

Major Responsibilities: Heavy Equipment Leasing, rentals, sales, repair and maintenance. Multiple sites. This company was a start-up stage. Build their maintenance shop from ground-up. (Even had to pour cement on the floor.) New equipment procurement, to company’s spec's and order, parts procurement, repairs, welding and certifications. Fleet included: tractor trailers, flat bed, straight trucks, roll off’s, all types of roll-off boxes, hard top, tarps, hazmat rated, bulk liquid tanks, Pneumatic tanks, high pressure tanks and electric generators. Employees hire, train and certify. Budget control, P & L. And other jobs as Owner's request. Also attended over the road emergencies, (spills) in Hazardous Materials. I was in charge in this area too. Went to different seminars to OEM's for up-dates and trainings.

Doubled the sales by developing new contracts with the lease of equipment and systems to chemical and pharmaceutical industries. Customers include Pfizer, Abbott Labs, Ochoa Industrials, Manuel del Valle, Inc., J&J, Bristol Myers, Pharmacia & Upjohn, and DuPont Agri-Chems. Drove business from zero to $ 100,000 in net sales in the first quarter.

Manage large truck fleet divisions, department staff, including responsibility for hiring, training, scheduling work assignments, performance management, accounts payable authorization, P & L, discipline, and authorization of overtime.
