Summary of Skills and Experience :-

Bacteriological cultures, interpretation and reporting of cultures- bacterial, mycobacteriological. Interpretation and reporting of mycobacteria & species diagnosis through biochemical tests, LPA;

Mycology: fungal microscopy & culture

Serological tests: Widal, ELISA for Dengue, Chikungunya,,HCV, HIV, HBsAg ; VDRL, agglutination tests, rapid tests.

Parasitological diagnosis: Stool microscopy;

Molecular diagnosis:DNA extraction & PCR.

Supervising and training technicians in microbiological procedures.

Giving demonstrations and briefings to MBBS, BDS, DMLT, Nursing students. etc.

Teaching experience from Dec 2012 upto now Oct 2013& ongoing.

Recent Past designation:- Worked as a Contractual Microbiologist in National Jalma Institute, Agra since Sept 2011 to Dec 2012. Had responsibility of maintaining repository of mycobacterial diseases. It involves Maintenance of culture of all types of mycobacterium sp. & its identification from clinical samples. Its a type of bank where any research institute can get mycobacterial species available to JALMA.

Past experience:

Worked as CMO in Rajasthan hospital AHMEDABAD 2003 for 2 mths,

Worked as RMO in PHC Rarod in BARODA district 2004 for 5 months,

Assisted father Dr G.K.Sachdev in his clinic in 2005-07, KOTA

Worked as resident doctor in Vishesh hospital for 8 mths & CHOITHRAM hospital 2 mths INDORE, 2008.

Worked as contractual microbiologist in NJIL & OMD, AGRA a research institute for mycobacteriology for 15 months sept2011-dec 2012.

CURRENT JOB STATUS:- Presently working as Sr demonstrator in Govt medical college, Srinagar, Paudi garhwal, Uttarakhand since 7th Dec 2012 uptill now .

WORKSHOPS ATTENDED:-

Got 1 week training in Revised National Tuberculosis Control Program in Ahemadabad (Sept 2004).

Attended workshop in MYCOPLASMA in govt medical college, Chandigarh (Sept 2010).

Got 10 days training in research methodology in NIE Chennai 31st oct -11 nov 2011

Attended workshop on molecular techniques in Pune (2013)

ACHIEVEMENT:-Got 1st Rank in Pre-Phd (Rajasthan University Of Health Sciences)
