Carnegie Hall- 881 Seventh Ave, New York, NY – Managed infrastructure and exterior upgrades to this building including new cooling towers, new 1750kW emergency generator as well as infrastructure upgrades to power, vertical transportation systems, facade restoration and roof replacement. Major tasks were to coordinate and track all RFI/bid clarification requests throughout the bidding process, to qualify and level all submittal proposals, assist the client in negotiating best and final pricing, to meet with internal project team to review project documents, review any construction phasing requirements with the owner and provide recommendations to assist in minimizing project impacts on existing building operations, to monitor all work on site on a daily basis, Update the project schedule and budget, review all requisitions for payment and make appropriate recommendations, review change orders, assist in project close out.

Ellis Island- Bid directly to the United States Department of Interior for 100% restoration of the prison and hospital areas. First project utilizing T rated bonds by The Boca Group. Designed and installed all complex shoring and rigging systems to insure preservation of sound areas.

Troy Towers – Union City, New Jersey

Project encompassed a total interior and exterior renovation of a 45-story / 35 unit condo with occupants present. Boca was 100% reasonable for design / build.

Bid Directly to the Condo Board for the demolition and new construction of a 450 car-parking garage situated on a 250 foot cliff at top of the Palisades.

Major tasks were to create submittals, RFI’s and closeout documentation, change orders, managing close out lists and work closely with local government agencies.

AIG Livingston, NJ - Boca participated in the construction of the first data center 120,000 square foot expansion for AIG in 1994 while with the Boca Group. Coordinated with all trades at this site for the expansion of an active data center. Ed also participated in the addition of medium voltage outdoor UPS systems in 2011 while with TLM, this project also included additional generators, expanding the existing paralleling gear as well as a redistribution of existing critical power.

Hartford Steam Boiler- Mr. Pastro managed the live upgrade to HSB’s data center in Hartford, CT including a new emergency generator, new ATS’s, new CRAC units as well as new dry coolers. Owners Representative for the construction of a new 200,000 square foot office / networking data center complete with dedicated generator system into the electrical infrastructure, UPS’s, fully automated control systems, ATS to cooling systems and ATS to trading desks. 50% of all work was undertaken in live building with shared tenancy to decrease overall costs. Ed was responsible for tracking the project schedule, as well as weekly progress reports. Throughout the project, he would schedule meetings with the GC and the vendor project managers. Some of his other tasks were to review submittals, RFI’s and closeout documentation, review change orders, he was responsible for managing punch list items, and also managing close out lists.
