I have an accumulated over 11 years machining experience in aerospace manufacturing at the Boeing Company in the Seattle area on Manual, and CNC Milling Machines. The last 3 years I have worked for General Dynamic Ordnance Tactical Systems in Anniston Alabama CNC Operator machining parts contracted for Raytheon and the US Military. I have recently relocated to Garland Texas with General Dynamic as a Senior Operator running a CNC Router. I’m a recent graduate of Gadsden State Community College with an Associates of Applied Science (A.A.S) degree in Machine Tool Technology. I’ve taken classes and have working knowledge of SolidWorks, MasterCam X8, advanced blueprint reading, geometric dimensioning and tolerance (GDT), precision measuring instruments, machine shop math, AutoCAD, Basic CNC Programming, and microcomputer applications such as Microsoft Office 2013 which includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access. Title: CNC Operator

Follow work instructions to set-up and operate 3-axis and 4 axis machining centers, which includes Massura, Mitsui Seike, with Fanuc controller, HAAS, and Okuma. Also run HAAS and Okuma Lathe. Establish work piece coordinates using indicators and edge finders then enter into machine. Set tooling on pre-setter, and establish tool length offsets, and cutter compensation in offset page. Make minor editing in program as needed. Make adjustments on the wear of the tool as they get dull. Make adjustments in feeds and speeds and change tooling as needed. Use precision measuring tools to verify the geometry of the part such as micrometers, calipers, bore gages, thread gages, and depth micrometer. Inspection of part also includes using sine plate’s basic math, and trigonometry. For the complex parts I use coordinate measuring machine (CMM) to measuring the physical geometrical characteristics of a part verifying concentricity, circularity, true positioning, flatness, maximum material condition (MMC) and perpendicularity.
