PROFESSIONAL HIGHLIGHTS:

Well versed with Product Modeling, Drafting, Fixture Design, Tool Design and Machines parts of Domestic and Industrial application using CAD CAM Software such as Unigraphics NX10.0, DelcamPowermill 2015R2, Autocad 2013.

Extensive knowledge of working with CNC machine set-up and operation such as VMC (3axis & 5axis), HMC (4axis) with CNC control system known as Fanuc, Heidenhain.

Expert in programming 2D and 3D complex machining parts.

To develop feature based 3D casting models from the given drawing.

After modeling split them according to machining and foundry process with the development of core boxes (if required) by using Unigraphics NX10.0 software.

Develop and generate 3D computer controlled programs for various machines and optimization of machining time by setting processes parameters like speed, feed & depth of cut for various jobs and material conditions with Delcam powermill 2015 R2 and Unigraphics NX10.0 software.

To design and develop holding device and machining tools for manufacturing & cutting tool life management.

Selecting cutting tools according to thickness of metals and preparing instruction sheets (CAM Sheet) to the operators to specify each operation and settings.

Attending rework in patterns with respect to revised drawing & customer suggestions.

Monitor the CAM process to ensure accuracy, consistency & quality in design process, resolve problems as they arise.

Produce detailed drawing (Drafting) using AutoCAD for quality control department for verification of patterns, core boxes and castings.

Process plan and cost estimate for the same including tools selection, materials selection and others.

To order milling cutters and inserts from suitable brandsand specification which suitable for our material such us Gunmetal (sliver brass), Steel (EN8), Cast-iron (FG200).

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:

2009-2013 Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical with First class 77.7% from Bharath Niketan Engineering College, Theni.

2007-2009 Higher Secondary, State board, 82.25% in Thiyagarajar Mills Higher Secondary School, Kappalur.

2007 SSLC, State board, 86.0% in Govt. Kallar High School, Kappalur.

PROJECT WORK UNDERTAKEN:

Project Title: Design of“Analyze and Improve the Core Pin’s Life in Rubber Mould”. (TVS RUBBER INDUSTRY, MADURAI).

Description:

To increase Production efficiency and to increase the core pin’s life using Designing & Analyzing software like (UNIGRAPHICS, ANSYS and FEA (Finite Element Analysis)).In this Project we modify the core pin location and core pin design using manual calculations (FEA).
