MTI Instruments - GM and VP/GM 2005-2009

Joined MTII, a manufacturer of precision non-contact sensors and systems, late in the year (2005) that exhibited a revenue decline of 20% from the previous year. Objective was to halt decline and refocus Instruments from an engineering driven company to a market driven company. Transition was realized by setting strategic growth initiatives, making the investments necessary to fuel significant growth and coaching the executive staff. Revenue decline was halted and 2007 revenue growth was 27%. Revenue growth in 2008 was 18% with both years contributing significant profits and with no management changes.

Sierra Monitor Corp - VP Sales/Marketing

Corporate VP overseeing three divisions. TELCO, which markets telecommunication vault environmental monitoring and control systems, FieldServer, which provides communication/protocol gateways to the building and process control markets and Gas Detection which provides gas monitoring and alarming for process, building and the telecommunication markets.

OnCuity Inc. - President and CEO

Co-founder of a software company that developed an enterprise-wide management information and notification system built upon Windows NT. Provided initial funding, attracted executive management and raised venture capital. Secured initial customers and technology licensing agreements in addition to directing company’s global expansion initiatives in the US, Europe and South America. Venture funding terminated in August 2000 (Lernout and Hauspie/FLV convicted of securities fraud); company ceased operations in March 2001 and technology sold to a third party in May 2001.

Accessware Inc. - President

Led an 8-year-old enterprise software company to chart new course. UNIX based technology was becoming obsolete and users were migrating to other suppliers. Extensively interviewed former and current customers, initiated product/market study and realized current product offerings were non-renewable and market was transitioning to Windows NT.

Transition Technology. - President

Company designs and manufacturers LAN based I/O information systems for manufacturing operations. Upon joining, TTI had been in business three years, had current revenues of $650 thousand and losses of $1.9 million. Venture investors desired turnaround and sale.

Azonix Inc. - President

Recruited by venture capital investors to grow existing analytical and precision metrology company. Overhauled entire marketing effort to achieve 35 percent increase in sales and 95 percent increase in earnings during the first

year. Second year saw concentration on high margin small systems resulting in additional 40 percent growth. Third year saw introduction of world’s first interactive LCD interface and acquisition of the company.

Rexnord Automation Companies

Cognisonics Inc. - President

Commercialized a Rexnord technology developed by a Brown University graduate student. Resulting product was a non-invasive ultrasonic contamination monitor for the Food and Pharmaceutical Industries. Secured initial orders from Abbott Labs and Roche Pharmaceuticals and grew company to 11 employees. After successful beta testing and market release, company acquired by Monitek in California.

Fife Inc. - President

Transferred to Fife, a division of Rexnord. Division was losing money and newly introduced nuclear gauging system was non-functional and the subject of litigation. Redirected resources to totally re-engineer new product that became industry leader. Rebuild organizational confidence and re-established company’s reputation. All legal action was stopped and no orders were cancelled or systems returned. Company acquired by Data Measurement Corporation, an East Coast competitor. Operations were in US and Germany.

EMC Controls Inc - Marketing Manager/VP Marketing/VP Marketing and Corporate Services

Joined small start-up with sales of 2 mm in 1979 and provided the marketing function and organization that grew sales to +100 mm in 1984.

As VP Corporate Services, also responsible for MIS department and marketing function for three subsidiaries.

Honeywell Inc.
