Personal Statement

I am a postgraduate student, recently completed Masters in Marine Engineering at University of Strathclyde and have a bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering. I intend to work in a challenging and creative environment, and to earn a job that helps me to achieve personal as well as organizational goals. I am a very hard worker and a curious person and believes in upgrading himself constantly. Also, I am a dedicated team player and enjoy the company and support of my peers while being able to manage my priorities and work with minimal supervision. I have self-confidence, good people skills, quick learning ability and an outgoing personality.

Oct 2015 - Present Supervisor for a Private Group of Industries (in the field of Techinical, workshop, outlet, procurement, safety standards, Heavy machinary and equipment installation, workplace management and partly sales)

March 2015 Volunteer of UK student president elections.

Sept 2014 – April 2015 Participation in all the conferences related to Maritime industries (CONMON, offshore and on-shore system availability maintenance and survey, energy management, environmental protection and safety retrofittings, oil & gas etc. )

April 2012 – May 2012 Played a significant role in the organisation of the 13th Annual VTU cultural youth fest, consisting of more than 100 participating colleges. I was the part of the event management team, where I was involved in conducting group meetings and addressing the volunteers about their responsibilities, which enabled me to hone my organising and managing skills.
