Writing in house applications for environmental data management system and environmental scientists

Creating REST and SOAP web services for in house applications especially lightswitch and also for data logger applications which are provided by Campbell Scientific API

Creating window service applications and window formless application in the system tray for environmental data documents synchronization

Creating report to print out the label for their environmental data sample analysis label

Creating NUGET packages for in house applications and writing code for unit testing

Working in OAG office as a developer for work integrated learning program from Edith Cowan University.

Building a new web portal for OAG office’s auditors and also for their agencies.

Developing the existing database using MS SQL such as modifying database design and tables, transferring database from local network to the main server and also maintaining.

Discussing with team member to redesign the existing database and new database design for portal.

Developing new database to store user login and history information for web portal by using MS SQL server

Using C#.net, LINQ, CSS, HTML and AJAX in Visual studio 2010 to develop this portal

Having fully responsibility to develop the web portal for agencies and auditors sides which help their management letter delivery process in a fastest and safest way, managing management letter delivery process for the specific audit year and audit type, giving feedback and accepting uploaded files from agencies and tracking all agencies activities in web portal and so on.

Managing the web portal to secure for agencies and auditors such as generating secure passwords from the system automatically for the agencies and also limiting the password strength for the auditors.

Working with other team member and the auditors from OAG office, getting ideas from them and also making a discussion with the auditor for web portal design and functions.

Also auditors from information system branch in OAG office help me to understand their complex audit process and what kinds of features they want for portal.

During the developing process, I have to discuss many times with my client (the director of information system department, OAG) to understand the requirements. We always have a meeting mostly every three or four weeks, with a need to discuss with my client to know the design, features and the additional design and features of web portal based on the requirements of OAG office.

This project in OAG office gives me a chance to explore in professional life in workplace and encourage me to learn new technological skills. And also I learn the communication with the clients and team members such as how can I communicate with the clients and how can I discuss and encourage to the clients to know what they want clearly.

“Mobile accessible banking Interface” – Android application for disable people (individual project from ECU)

Developing an android application by using Java for disable people including blind people and partly blind people.

Discussing with my supervisor for the design and the features for the application, to understand the design pattern and the features especially for disable people

Linking this application with the ATM to withdraw/transfer/check the account information without using the keypad from ATM machine.

Developing a mobile application to link with the ATM (Automated Teller Machine) to withdraw/transfer/check the account information, using the functionality of ATM on mobile device and getting money from ATM if the client withdraw money from ATM.

The same features with ATM are included in this application such as checking account balance and information, transferring money to anyone and withdrawing money from account and so on.

Developing the database for data and solving the problems for multiple display sizes and versions for android mobile devices

We develop this application just as a model and this application mainly focus on disable people.

I developed this application by using Android sdk (Eclipse IDE with build-in ADT (android developer tool)), java for coding and XML for design and LINQ

I train myself to learn Android sdk and XML which is a new programming language for me.

This project can help me to extend my programming knowledge and give me a strength to learn new language and platform for my future professional life.
