1996 BSC (Petroleum Geology) from Mining & Geology College, Hanoi-Vietnam.

2003 Master of Science Degree in Reservoir Geoscience and Engineering from IFP School, France.

Talisman Malaysia Limited/Repsol, Subsurface Group (kinabalu asset, sabah)

Senior Development Geologist (2013-Present)

Working as senior geologist in Kinabalu project dealing with subsurface study of Kinabalu brown field (production started in 1997). Conducted Field Reserve Assessment and Full Field Development Plan.

Build, update and upscale static 3D models of detaic and shallow marine environments (B-O reservoir Groups, multiple stack sandstone reservoir), Sabah, Malaysia.

Well correlation (field scale, 52 wells and basin scale) for use in mapping and the understanding of producing reservoirs at kinabalu field.

Build master project, perform reservoir characterization, property work flows for building models

Well design and well prognosis (14 deviated + 02 horizontal) wells including infill wells for 2013-2017 drilling campaign.

Generate a variety of geologic maps (structure, reservoir, etc.), evaluate prospects, play fairway, estimate hydrocarbon in place, risk & uncertainties analysis and propose well locations for infill and exploration.

Well monitoring, QC & quick look real time mud logging & LWD data and provide operation support (operation, 04 wells including horizontal and highly deviated wells in thin reservoir, wells drilled through depleted reservoirs) during drilling, picking up casing, landing and coring points. Working closely with reservoir Engineering pick up and monitor pressure and samples.

Well correlation (field scale, 54 wells and basin scale) for use in mapping and the understanding of producing reservoirs at Bunga Orkid & Parkma oil & gas field, Malay Basin
